REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy

At Best Value Driving School, we are committed to providing high-quality driver education services in accordance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) standards. This refund policy outlines how payments are handled for our driving programs and services.

1. General Policy

All driving school packages are considered prepaid educational service programs that include both theory (classroom or online instruction) and practical in-car training. Once a student has been granted access to any portion of the program, certain fees become non-refundable as outlined below.

2. Theory & Administrative Fees

The following components are non-refundable once access has been granted or services have begun:

  • Classroom or online instruction (including access to course materials or login credentials)

  • HomeLink or online coursework assignments

  • Administrative, registration, and processing fees

  • MTO certification and documentation processing

These components are considered fully delivered once access or registration has been provided.

3. In-Car Training Refunds

Refunds for in-car driving lessons are only applicable for unused lesson hours.

  • Completed lessons are charged at the standard hourly rate included in the purchased package.

  • Any remaining unused in-car training hours may be refunded upon written request.

  • No refunds will be issued for missed lessons without proper notice as per our cancellation policy.

4. Road Test Vehicle Use

If a package includes vehicle rental for a road test:

  • This service is only refundable if it has not been reserved or used.

  • Once a booking is confirmed, the fee becomes non-refundable.

5. Refund Calculation

Approved refunds will be calculated as follows:

Refund = Total amount paid − (used services + non-refundable theory/admin fees)

This ensures students are only charged for services already provided.

6. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows for in-car lessons may result in full lesson charges.

  • Repeated missed appointments may affect eligibility for continued training.

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.

8. Payment Platform

All online payments are securely processed through Stripe. Refunds will be issued back to the same payment method used at checkout where applicable.
